Christmas Card Challenges #24

We're starting a new "term" at Christmas Card Challenges soon (June), but we have a few new Designers working with us right now.  So, hop on over to the Challenge blog (click here) to see all the inspirational items this week.

Then, get your crafty supplies out and start working on your Christmas cards, tags or gifts.  We'd love to have you join us and since this week is "Anything Goes," it's the perfect time to show off your beautiful creations.

Lots of distressing, but a very simple design.

And I kept the inside simple also.

I liked the design, so I created a 2nd card using punched ornaments.  Yes, they're "floating" in space, but adding hanging threads just didn't look right on this card...although I think I like the poinsettia card better.

I can't wait to see what you create.

Card Front Sentiment: Word Art Digital Stamp
Card Inside Sentiment: Stampin' Up!
Ornament Stamp: Dollar Bin Stamp
Poinsettia Die: Darice
Ornament Punch: Stampin' Up!
Distress Ink: Tim Holz Vintage Photo

  1. The sponging adds such a nice vintage feel to these two cards! I think the ornaments look just fine without strings, especially in this design. But I am partial to the poinsettia card, too. ;)

  2. This is gorgeous, and the underlaying doily is so pretty. Just a wonderful touch. Thanks so much for sharing your talents with us, and please join us again soon.

  3. What a nice Christmas card. We are blessed that you linked with our Challenge at Word Art Wednesday and inviting you to join us again in our current challenge. Leaving you with the encouragement from God's Word in Romans 15:5-6 which tells us, "May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." Have a great Memorial Day weekend.

    Blessings,
